Corrections Policy

Email the public support address and include the page URL, the value or statement in question, when you saw it, why it may be incorrect, and any authoritative source that supports the report. Do not send passwords, identity documents, financial details, or other sensitive information.

1. We compare the report with the current page, provider response, transformation logic, and implementation.
2. If a provider value changed normally, the next successful refresh may resolve the difference without an editorial correction.
3. If SmartInfo introduced an error, we correct the affected copy, calculation, translation, source label, or code and retest related pages.
4. If the issue cannot be verified, we may retain the existing content while continuing to monitor the source.

A market price, forecast, or prayer schedule changing in its normal update cycle is not a correction. A correction addresses an error in SmartInfo’s sourcing, transformation, explanation, translation, or presentation.

When an error materially changes how a value should be understood, the relevant page or policy is updated and its significant modification date is revised. We do not change timestamps merely to make unchanged content appear fresh.

Reports are reviewed according to severity and the evidence available. SmartInfo does not promise a fixed response time, but issues that could affect safety, financial interpretation, or religious observance receive higher priority.

Use the support email on our Contact page and begin the subject with “Correction” so the report can be identified clearly.
